Lubricants are the ingredients used to adjust the processing characteristics of the formulation (i.e. PVC resin, stabilizer, impact modifiers, process aids, fillers, and pigments) to the extruder or injection-molding machine. The optimum choice of lubricants depends on the processing machine and formulation. Rheogistics often works with the customers to develop unique custom solutions to PVC processing problems. Proprietary products dedicated to one customer often result from these efforts.

Rheogistics has particular interest in the lubrication of highly filled rigid PVC formulations, lubrication of rigid PVC foam formulations, and the lubrication of CPE impact modified rigid PVC.
